CURRENT NOVEL PROJECT--The first book in the original series: "The Lost Secret of Fairies:
The Crystal Keeper Chronicles Book 1".
This novel has stemmed from a short story based on my own childhood fantasies and research on fairy legends and myths. It is currently my first long term work. It is the first book in a series based on the heritage and legends of fairies.

The second book, "The Lost Secret of the Green Man" I am feverishly in the process of writing. Wanda will be facing a new challenge that many pre-teens, making friends. Can she be friends with a new Keeper, keep up her grades, and fight the shadow sorcerer Balkazaar? Can the Green Man help with the new problem of bees dying through out the Fairy World? Out next year, this book will be a continuation of the series that helps give a new twist to fairies. They're not always full of sugar and spice. Real life problems are intertwined to help readers deal with pre-teen issues while enjoying a fantasy realm of fairies far beyond the Tinkerbell level.

My new book is available through TRAFFORD PUBLISHING.

The main character, Wanda, is lead into a secret world of fairies where she discovers they are in trouble. The fairies are dying from pollution in the world of humans, and need her help to bring back a cure. She becomes the new Keeper of the Fairy World, the child that helps the fairy queen and local nation of fairies. She sets off with her cat and friend fairies to get the powerful spring water, but has to face her fears and build her self confidence as a new hero of fairy, just like in the books she loves to read.

Picture Book Manuscript:"Is Santa Real?"@2006 Word Count: 323
It is about a child's search to answer the ultimate question, is Santa real? This was inspired by the real debate I overhead on the playground during yard duty. Except I added a twist to the ending. Below are the first three stanzas:

The talk on the playground
Earlier today
Was about Santa
And his famous sleigh.

Is Santa real?,
Asked my best friend.
I thought for a moment,
Was he really pretend?

Others joined us
In our little debate.
Christmas was coming
And we couldn't wait.

Thank you for your interest.
