Welcome to my section where I'm putting some research where my mouth is, so to speak. In my ads on Ebay, I try to mention as much history and research that I have found out about each ring. But there is often much I cannot include. This section trys to make up for what I can't include in each ad, plus a whole lot more.

Below you will find links to Maps on where my Roman Rings are found, plus all the termonology you need to know for ring descriptions. There is a section on Roman Ring styles and Celtic styles. Last, there is a section on Late Roman Empire History, 100-300AD, the time period where most of my rings are dated as.

Exciting Summer Research Trip 2001!

I was lucky to include a trip to the Louvre Museum last summer when I visited France. I've worked through all the pamphlets and books I bought, plus notes sketched and written while in the museum. Most incredible was becoming face to face with items that were only pictures in other Ring History books. Look for notes and info from this adventure to appear on this site shortly.
